The project included extensive demolition of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems, along with Type 3 abatement of mold, asbestos, and lead paint. Fifteen washrooms were completely renovated, and the combined sewer system was separated into dedicated storm and sanitary lines. Portions of the basement were trenched two metres deep to install new piping, while new structural steel and fireproofing were added to support an elevator within the existing structure.
Working in an active campus environment, our team ensured that students, staff, and daily operations remained safe and uninterrupted throughout construction.
