Dineen Construction successfully delivered a design-build project to facilitate the installation of a new PET CT scanner at the Lakeridge Health Oshawa site, within the existing Nuclear Medicine Department. Located on the first floor of the F Wing, the project involved retrofitting an area with no previous diagnostic imaging infrastructure to accommodate this vital addition. The new PET CT unit will serve as a critical support service for a range of clinical programs across the Durham Region, enhancing diagnostic capabilities and patient care. Dineen provided full design services and led the project from concept through to completion. Our team maintained clear, consistent communication with the client, ensuring the design aligned with operational needs while adhering to strict healthcare standards. The project was completed on time and on budget, with an emphasis on safety and minimum disruption to ongoing hospital operations.
