The renovated facility at 99 Duncan Mills Road serves as the new headquarters for March of Dimes Canada – a national charity dedicated to supporting people with disabilities. The March of Dimes relocation is a part of Metrolinx’s transformative Ontario Line subway expansion, a 15.6-kilometre project that will reshape transit across Toronto.
Dineen completed a comprehensive retrofit designed to provide a modern, accessible, and reliable space tailored to the organization’s evolving needs. The renovated facility features upgraded and newly constructed office spaces, kitchenettes, multipurpose/program rooms, and conference rooms. Behind the walls, we executed extensive mechanical, electrical, and communication system upgrades, a full elevator modernization, and the installation of strict security measures throughout the building.
Accessibility was a top priority, with the addition of new north and south access ramps—uniquely designed with wider widths, integrated heating, and custom-fabricated blocks for the retaining walls. Structural improvements involved the investigation and remediation of foundation cracking, while site enhancements included landscaping, hardscaping, and site services upgrades.
Dineen is proud to have delivered the successful relocation, supporting not only a critical transit infrastructure project but also the continued service and advocacy work of a national non-profit.
