Referencing an email forwarded to both the Project Manager, Pratik Shah and the Site Superintendent, Shaun Arnold from Mr. Rommel Berdos…
Hi Pratik, I am writing to thank you & Shaun for completing the mental Health project on time and with limited inconvenience to patients and clinicians.
You guys were unfailingly dependable during the process from start to finish. No one could have done a better job organizing this and thanks for your hard work and dedication, it went well.
We hope that you continue being dedicated to the mission of our organization to ensure patient care. Kudos to your team and looking forward to doing projects with you in the future.
Dawn Blackman wanted me to acknowledge your demonstration of the St. Joseph’s value of ‘Excellence’. When we have contractors working in our facilities, it must be recognized when they display the values which we live by here at St. Joe’s.
Your dedication and passion for the work that you do on a daily base is commendable. As we all know, renovations in existing and aging healthcare environments can be very challenging – you are timely with responses, a creative problem-solver, and have a positive attitude no matter the challenge that arises.
Thank you for excellent and passionate work on both the OR project, as well as your involvement on the JFK project. We truly appreciate the positive experience we had working with you, and hope to work with you again in the future.
Dineen Construction (2017) Corporation has been doing renovations and new construction at Lakeridge Health Corporation hospitals for several years. I have had the pleasure of working with Dineen on a number of projects.
Dineen offers competitive pricing, excellent project management and site supervision. They are familiar with the complexities of working in a hospital environment and deal well with patients, visitors and staff and follow all I.P.A.C. procedures as required. They generally complete the projects on time and are prompt with their paper work. They have done everything from very small renovations up to major capital construction projects in the millions of dollars. They have been on our pre-qualification list as a preferable contractor for years.
The LHPP Inpatient Washrooms renovations project is now completed. I wanted to take this opportunity to complement Dineen Construction on a job well done. As you know, the project was 13 months in length and involved much planning for multiple phases of work.
Throughout the project the on site superintendent, Ryan Parrinder did an excellent job at organizing the work and communicating to all parties. He was efficient and always thoughtful of the staff and patients and the impacts to the daily routines and care. As the project occurred within an operating clinical inpatient unit, it offered some challenges. Ryan and the construction team were very accommodating and willing to work through all situations.
Ryan and Dillon Campbell (also from Dineen Construction) were very knowledgeable about the Infection Control requirements and ensured that all IPAC concerns and requirements were addressed immediately. The IPAC representative at the site has been complementary about Dineens adherence to LH’s IPAC policies and procedures.
Now that the construction team has left the site I have received a number of complements from staff stating how well the project was implemented and how impressed they were with the contractors completion of work.
From my perspective as Project Manager, the project was very successful and was completed on time and within budget. There were very few extra costs/change orders on this project.
Again, I wish to thank you for your participation in this project and ensuring a successful
completion to the improvements to care for the families and patients in our community.
This letter is to provide a reference for Dineen Construction (2017) Corporation. I have had the pleasure of working with Dineen on several projects at George Brown College over the past few years.

Dineen Construction has been a pre-qualified general contractor (below $10 M) at Southlake since 2011.
I am writing this letter in personal support of Dineen Construction relative to the MRI and Nuclear Medicine renovation project at Southlake Regional Health Centre. The project was a phased implementation within an operational diagnostic imaging department. The project was completed in March 2018 and the final construction value was approximately $3M.
Dineen’s team was diligent in the execution of the project work, mindful of the adjacent clinical activities and patients, and maintained a safe and clean site. Throughout the construction activity, Dineen personnel showed respect towards patients, staff visitors and the facility.
Throughout the project the change order pricing received from Dineen was fair and reasonable and they monitored the progress on-site and assigned additional resources as required to maintain the overall project schedule.
The representatives from Dineen were key contributors to the successful delivering the project. I look forward to working wxth Dineen Construction in the future.
