The Sherbourne site was a six storey abandoned building that was part of the Wellesley Hospital. Dineen took the abandoned site and completely renovated parts of the basement and the first four floors while the two-storey attached Annex Building remained in full operation seeing patients daily.
The project involved renovations to the building interior and interior washrooms. Extensive demolition of HVAC, plumbing & electrical, along with type 3 abatement of mold, asbestos and lead paint in an occupied university building.
Dineen provided Construction Management Services for Phase 1 construction to convert an existing industrial/commercial unit (approx. building footprint 2,390 m2) into a church facility. Phase 2 work involved 2nd floor electrical room installation.
DINEEN Construction Corporation was the Construction Manager for this prestigious project located approximately 2-1/2 hours north of Toronto, and was responsible for all aspects of budgeting, scheduling, value engineering, trade procurement, quality control and accounting.
