Mount Pleasant GO Station is on the Georgetown line in south-central Ontario located at Bovaird Drive and Ashby Field Drive in the suburb of Mount Pleasant of Brampton, ON. The station originally opened for service in February 2006 while still under construction because GO Transit needed to alleviate parking shortages at Brampton GO Station in order to service the nearby community. The station was then completed in March 2006.
In the fall of 2007, DINEEN was awarded the Mount Pleasant GO Station expansion project that consisted of platform extensions, new 600-car parking lot, pedestrian walkway and kiss-&-ride drop-off area that was completed in June of 2009.
