DINEEN Construction is proud to be a leader in Green construction. DINEEN focuses on providing optimal energy and water efficiencies, maximizing the use of local products and waste diversion from landfills, providing enhanced commission and minimizing the use of toxic materials.
DINEEN’s staff have attended numerous workshops given by the Canada Green Building Council outlining the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Green Building Rating System. Presently, DINEEN Construction has two employees with LEED recognition.
Many LEED construction methods are employed by DINEEN Construction on every project as standard construction methods. Using reclaimed crushed concrete under floor slabs and parking lots and separating construction waste by material and recyclable products are some of the methods that have been employed by DINEEN for several years. DINEEN’s Environmental Protection Policy states that all DINEEN employees will commit to reduce, reuse and recycle construction waste. DINEEN Construction is fully committed to reducing waste sent to landfill sites by recycling all waste materials whenever possible.
DINEEN understands the important role and responsibility of the general contractor to attain LEED points during construction.
