The project involved extensive demolition of HVAC, plumbing & electrical, along with type 3 abatement of mold, asbestos and lead paint in an occupied university building. Also (15) washrooms were entirely renovated and the combined sewer system was split into storm and sanitary. Portions of the basement were trenched 2m deep to install new piping. Structural steel was installed to support elevator in existing structure with corresponding fireproofing.
