10,000m2 of existing surface parking was re-graded and new site servicing and bio-filter ditches were installed. Caissons varying from 4m to 15m in depth were socketed into weathered shale, having to bridge new and existing site services. A 9,400m2, 300 car, one storey precast parking structure was installed on the caissons. The upper exposed deck area was waterproofed and asphalted. The below deck area was re-graded and paved. LED lighting was provided throughout. Upper deck vehicular access was via a precast waterproofed ramp. Upper deck pedestrian access was through 2 glazed stairwells and an architecturally significant corten steel bridge.
