Dineen Construction performed the Classroom Renewal Program at Keele Campus in York University. The renovation consisted of 23 classrooms and lecture halls in seven different buildings across campus for a better student learning experience.
The project was performed in two phases, completing the classrooms for the start of winter term and then the lecture halls. Dineen worked with restrictions and delays due to availability of construction materials during COVID-19. The Dineen team applied temporary measures for AV and doors by reusing old equipment to ensure classrooms could be used while material arrived. The team kept in constant communication and updated the university throughout the project by scheduling biweekly site meetings and monthly meetings with York University.
