Dineen Construction Corporation performed the Interventional Radiology and Ultrasound Renovation project at Lakeridge Health in Oshawa. Delivered in three phases, the project consisted of: hoarding, abatement, demolition, flooring, drywall, painting, mechanical and electrical work, including installation of medical equipment as per requirements/specifications (two Siemens CT Scans). The phased construction allowed the hospital to remain fully operational with minimum disruption to the patients undergoing treatment. The project was completed with all Infection Prevention Control as required.
The renovation brings two times the space, increased safety for staff, technologically advanced imaging equipment, and the ability to provide much more complex procedures. The area holds 10 beds and technology includes advance CT capabilities, including 3D imaging.
